Obituary: LEONARD WAYNE CADARETTE

Leonard Wayne Cadarette 67, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Annie Penn Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at Main Street United Methodist Church, 221 South Main Street, Reidsville, NC, on Wednesday November 30, 2022 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Wayne was born in Jefferson County, Kentucky, to Leonard Albert Cadarette and the late Shirley Murphy Cadarette. He was a retiree of Lorillard Tobacco Company of 36 years and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of Two Rivers and Dixie Bass Masters fishing clubs. He enjoyed gardening and meeting up with fellow retirees from Lorillard. He was also a huge UK Wildcats sports fan.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Martha Cadarette; daughters Sarah Lankford and husband Brian, and Amanda Cadarette; grandson William Lankford; father Leonard Albert Cadarette; brothers Timothy Cadarette and Ricky Cadarette; sisters Cynthia Cadarette and Amiee Gillespie and several nieces and nephews.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
