Obituary: LAURA COBB HOPPER SHREVE

Laura Cobb Hopper Shreve 102, of Reidsville went to be with her Lord, Monday, November 28,2022 at Pelican Health Nursing Center.

Laura was born April 6,1920 in Reidsville, North Carolina to the late David and Annie Cobb. She was a faithful and devoted member of Wolf Island Primitive Baptist Church.

Laura loved her Lord and her family. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at Northend School.

Laura was preceded in death by her eleven brothers and one sister. Also, preceding her in death were two husbands, Bruce Hopper , Gene Shreve and her only child Steve Allen Hopper.

Laura is survived by her daughter-in-law of 47 years Wanda Hopper. Granddaughter Lauran Hopper , Grandson Landon Hopper, and fiancé Tracy Tilley. Great Grand Children Autumn Hopper and Aiden Hopper. Three Great, Great Grand Children , Alex Winfree, Aryana Tilley and Riyanah Hairston.

The family request time to grieve with no visitors at the home at this time.

An open viewing at the graveside will be held Friday, December 2, 2022 at 10:30 am-11:00 am , with a graveside service at 11:00 am at Dan River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family request in lieu of flowers or food , memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice in Laura’s name.
