Larry Wayne Brewer, 78, passed away early Monday morning, August 14, 2023, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Thursday, August 17th, at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel.
Larry was born November 23, 1944 in Rockingham County, NC, to the late John Floyd Brewer and Mary Joyce Brewer. He was a retired police lieutenant for Piedmont-Triad International Airport in Greensboro and had also served as a Federal Marshall / Court Security Officer for the Forsyth County Courthouse. Larry was of the Baptist faith, something that was very important to him.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Harris Brewer, who he celebrated 50 years of marriage with on June 2, 2023; his daughter, Shannon Onuffer (Mark); two grandchildren, Tyler Dale King and Abbey Marie King and his brother-in-law, Phillip R. Harris.
