Obituary: LARRY TUGGLE

Larry Tuggle, 76, left this earthly life on Monday, August 15, 2022 at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Mt Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Stuart Jones officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and all other times at the home.
Mr. Tuggle was born on April 16, 1946 in Rockingham County to the late Munfard Taft Tuggle and Rosa Tilley Tuggle. Larry was a 1964 graduate of Madison-Mayodan High School and for more than fifty years, he owned and operated Tuggle Plumbing and Ditching. He was a longtime member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing and loving on people. Larry will forever be known as a loving husband, father and great friend to many.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sons, Larry Allen Tuggle and Wesley Lane Tuggle; brother, Frankie Lee Tuggle and sister, Christine Tuggle Brewer.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-six years, Judy Fulp Tuggle; nephew, Danny Brewer (Donna); niece, Pam Cooper; great-nephew, Gray Boles (Jasmine) and their children, Jackson, Kaylee and Josie.
