Obituary: LARRY DONNELL PINNIX

Larry Donnell Pinnix departed this life on Thursday evening, June 29, 2023.

As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina, he attended the local public schools and was a graduate of Reidsville Senior High School, Class of 1976. Larry was a former employee of the Cone Health Care System. During his leisure, he enjoyed socializing in the community.

His parents, Martha Lawson Pinnix and John Wesley Pinnix; beloved wife, Patricia Miller Pinnix; siblings, John, James, William, Robert, Lorenza and Richard Pinnix, preceded him in death. Survivors are: step-daughter, Jennifer Miller (Keith); siblings, Mary Singleton, Rev. Roger B. Pinnix (Annie) and Betty Alverson (Henry); sisters-in-law, Valerie Pinnix, Willette Pinnix and Wylene Pinnix; aunt, Gillie Pinnix; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street with Rev. Roger B. Pinnix presiding. Public viewing will be Friday afternoon at Johnson & Sons.
