Obituary: LARRY DEAN MABE

Larry Dean Mabe, 62, left this earthly life Monday, April 3, 2023, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Friday, April 7, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel (1020 Hope Beasley Rd, Sandy Ridge, NC). A private burial will be held.

Larry was born August 15, 1960, in Stokes County, to the late Bob Mabe and Betty Jean Brown. He enjoyed the outdoors, farming, horseback riding, and coon hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Mabe.

Larry is survived by his fiancé, Renea Reed; cousins, and close friends, Eddie Bennett, Joe Jones, Jim Hicks, Lonnie Tuttle, Richard Collins, Ronnie Reed, Susie Barker, and Susie Barker.

Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
