Kayla Renea Setliff, 30, and unborn son, Robert Lee Smith, Jr. left this earthly life Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 5 pm, Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service beginning at 4 pm.
Kayla was born on April 21, 1992, in Forsyth County. She loved her family, dancing, and all types of music.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elwood Mabe, Carolyn Mabe, and great-grandparents, Frances Fields and J.B. Greer.
She is survived by her fiancé Robert Lee Smith; daughter Harley Sue Setliff; son, Michael Pettitt; father of her children Dillon Pettitt); father Mike Darry Barker (Sandy); mother Melinda Setliff Tilley (James Smith); brother Roman Barker; sister Brittany Hawes; maternal grandparents Dwight Setliff (Virginia) and paternal grandmother Rebecca Barker. Also left to cherish her memory are many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Colonial Funeral Home in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
