Julius Welch, 78, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice of Winston Salem.
Julius was born in Stokes County on September 17, 1944, to the late Joe and Nettie Hairston Welch. He retired from Stokes County Schools.
A 3:00 p.m. Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Baileytown Christian Church with Bishop Bobby Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at the Welch Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Public viewing for Julius will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
