John Thomas Mundy, 50, of Eden was taken home too soon on July 25, 2023.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the home of Terry Webb at 222 Clark Street in Eden.
John was born in Eden on December 15, 1972, a son of Thomas Denny Mundy and Lillie Gammons, both deceased. He was a former employee of Fieldcrest Mills and later a truck driver for Mabe Trucking,
He is survived by his brothers, Terry Webb, Sr. and wife Donna of Eden, Ronald Mundy of Virginia; and his sister, Paula Jacobus of Eden.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, James Webb.
John was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was thoughtful, loyal, and brave. He was clever and full of knowledge gained through all his life experiences.
He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them – and if you knew him, you knew it.
John, your friends and family hate that you are gone, but we are happy that you are home free and painless. We will always love and miss you until we can meet again.
