

Joel Osborne Barringer, II, 61, of Stoneville passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Cone Health.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Joel was born in Alamance County on September 24, 1963, the son of Joel Barringer, sr. and Delores Epperly Barringer, both deceased. He was a master butcher, operating a USDA meat processing plant. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved adventures with his family including traveling, fishing and camping. The Outer Banks of North Carolina was his favorite place to visit. The most important thing in his life was his family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Debbie, Brenda, Linda and Penny.
Left to cherish his memory are his companion, Susan Barnes Barringer; his children, James Barnes, Jessica Barnes, Jennifer Barringer (Clay Ore, Jr.), Taylor Barringer; his sister, Rebekah Barringer Kaczmarek (Joel), his brothers-in-law, Dane Miller and Lee Donahue, Jr.; his sister-in-law, Roxanne Prillaman (Durk); his grandchildren, Jack, Caroline and Eli; his nieces and nephews, Joel, Rachel, Matt, Mark, Justin, Jacob, Ashley, Coty and Alex; his aunt and uncle, Judy, and Dennis Webster and their children, Dewayne, David and Denise; his special friends, Dana Reynolds and family; and his beloved pets, Trixie, BonBon and Tiger; and numerous other extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Breast Cancer Foundation or to the Boys Scouts of America Troop 566 in Stoneville.
