Obituary: JODY ALLEY

Jody L. Alley, 63, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Atrium Health in Charlotte.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Maple Lawn Baptist Church with Pastor Wesley Byerly officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Bethel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. on Monday at the church and all other times at the residence.

Mr. Alley was born on July 4, 1961 in Guilford County. Jody worked for Lenova and Guilford Mills for many years and was known for his stellar work ethic. He was a member of Maple Lawn Baptist Church and enjoyed watching auto racing and sports on television.

He was preceded in death by his father, O. Max Alley and his brother, Terry Alley.

Survivors include his mother, Audrey Simmons Alley; brothers, Robert Max Alley (Opal) and Roger Dale Alley (Sandy); sister, Tammy Tilley (Donnie) and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity or organization of the donors choice.

Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
