Ms. Joann Simpson Watkins, age 69, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 at her residence.
A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023 at 3 p.m. at Garrett’s Grove United Methodist Church, 191 High Rock Road, Gibsonville, NC. The viewing will begin at 1:30 p.m. with the family arriving at 2:30 p.m.
Interment will be held privately.
Those left to remember her life includes children, Lamont Watkins, twins, Meshon Watkins and RJ Watkins (Ivy); 4 grandchildren, Keyona, Qynton, Christion and Caylei; siblings, George E. Simpson, Jackie L. Simpson (Penny), Alphonzo Simpson, Gail S. McGee (Tom) and Carol Simpson; bonus daughter, Tamika C. Watkins; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
