JoAnn Collins Bryant, 91, died on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Madison with Reverend Doctor Chuck McGathy officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Bryant was born on June 19, 1932 in Rockingham County to the late Ernest Collins and Nealie Hennis Collins. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Madison and a retiree from Kobe Copper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Kenneth Bryant and siblings, Lois Smith, Willard Collins, Samuel Cleo Collins and Mary Lou Martin.
Survivors include her children, Kem Bryant, Jack Bryant, II (Anita) and Serita Stewart (Phil); grandchildren, Sean Bryant and Alicia Strickland and great-grandchildren, Hunter Strickland and Christopher Bryant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Madison, 110 S. Franklin St., Madison, NC 27025 and/or AuthoraCare Hospice, 2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405.
Colonial Funeral Home in Madison is serving the family.
