Jerry was born in 1939. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Aileen Williams Faucette of 47 years; his parents, Lester George Faucette, Jr. and Gertrude Wray Faucette; his brother Donnie Faucette; and sister-in-law Nancy Pitchford Faucette.
Jerry was blessed to have found another love of his life and is survived by his spouse, Ann French Faucette; 2 daughters Audra Collis and Lisa Brooks & spouse Roger; grandchildren Cameron Collis, Carly Collis, and Hunter Brooks; and numerous other bonus children and grandchildren from the second marriage. He is also survived by his devoted, loving brother George Arnold (Butch) Faucette and a large extended family.
Jerry was a proud, devoted member of Monticello United Church of Christ for his entire 83 years. During that time, he served on numerous committees and most recently the Land and Building Project for the Outreach Center. He enjoyed cooking hot dogs for the annual Yard Sale and hosting the location at his shop for the Men’s Fellowship shoulder sales.
He graduated from Monticello High School in Brown Summit and was a member of the National Guard for many years. He worked for many years alongside his father running the family tobacco farm. He and his previous spouse, Aileen Williams Faucette (deceased) continued the family tobacco farm for 41 years.
He enjoyed his final 10 years retired, alongside Ann with many new and exciting adventures. He continued cultivating the land, gardening, and spending most of his free time mowing the yard or piddling in his shop. He loved being outside.
The family would like to express their special thanks to George Arnold (Butch) Faucette, Rae Brown, and AuthoraCare of Greensboro for their time caring and loving for Jerry.
