Obituary: JERRY KEITH JONES, SR

Jerry Keith Jones, Sr., 84, of Eden went home to be with his Lord on Monday, November 26, 2023, at his home.
A funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Fair Funeral Home Chapel in Eden. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 1-2pm, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel.
Jerry was born December 2, 1938, in Rockingham County, NC, to the late Morris Keith Jones and Leona McNeely Jones. Jerry served his country as a Sergeant in the US Army. He was a member of Floyd Missionary Baptist Church in Eden. Most recently, Jerry worked in security for Cone Health.
Surviving are his loving wife, Evelyn Snider Jones of the home; son, Jerry “Keith” Jones, Jr. (Robyn) of Eden; brother, Richard Jones of Shallote; stepdaughters, Charlotte Turner (Brian), Cheryl Stratton (William); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jones, Makayla Stratton, T.J. Baker, Summer Stratton, Kendyl Stratton.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Wayne Jones.
