Obituary: JERRIANNE BAKER SMITH

JerriAnne Baker Smith, 53, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2024 at her home.

Per her wishes, the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 24, 1970 in Guilford County to the late Jerry Lee Baker and Brenda Gayle Barker Baker. She enjoyed crafting, making jewelry, camping and spending time on the river. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved family and friends and having fun. She will forever be remembered for her big heart and willingness to do whatever she could to help those in need.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Gladys Barker.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Smith; beloved daughter, Brandii Campbell (Chris); granddaughter, ShelbyLynn Groves; step-son, Robert Smith; brother, Jason Baker (Geraldine); nieces, Ashley Edwards (Roy and boys) and Candace Poupore (Gabe and kids); best friend, Wayne Murray and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel, Inc. 127 Ellisboro Road, Madison, NC 27025 to assist the family with expenses.
