Jeffrey Mark Mabe, age 57, our beloved husband, father, Papa, and brother, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025.

Jeff was born on May 24, 1967, in Patrick County, Virginia, to the late Aunice and Lois Cox Mabe. He was a graduate of North Stokes High School, an active member of the Lawsonville Church of God for many years, and employed with the Stokes County Sheriff’s Department.

He not only loved his work but loved to help others. Jeffrey was an outdoorsman who loved fishing, gardening and his German Shepherds. His greatest joy was his grandkids and taking them on adventures.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Smith Mabe; son, Zackary Mabe (Kaitlin); daughter, Sara Fox (Zack); grandchildren, Sophia Manson, Sadie Fox, Riley Mabe, and Lincoln Mabe; brother, David Mabe (Layla); and sisters, Diann Bennett, Gail Bennett (Rickey), Donna Lawson (Stanley), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jeffrey will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel with Reverend Rickey Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Sunday. Burial will follow at the Lawsonville Church of God Cemetery.
