Jeffrey Ford Haynes (Cat Daddy and Baby Duck), 30, left this earthly life on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 and is with his Nanny and Granddad and Grammy and Pop Pop.
Left here without him are his two cats, Mr. Spike and Phantom, residing at his home; his Popi of Summerfield; his dad, Jeff (Padre) Haynes; his mom, Donna (Peggy) Haynes; sister, Heather Haynes and husband, Dakota Wilson; his second mom, Karen Landreth, his BFF’s, J.P. Landreth, Brian Landreth, Cory Morphies, Cody Nance and Morgan Pittman.
Because of the rotten scum bags that created COVID, Jeffrey was left with decreased lung and heart functions and on dialysis. Jeffrey was forced to take an early retirement from the City of Greensboro, where he was a vactor truck operator. He loved his job and took pride in keeping his truck clean. Jeffrey was very organized and loved to clean. If he helped you with cleaning, be prepared that any valuables could end up in the dump pile.
Jeffrey loved his cats, his guns and his diesel truck. He loved helping his dad work on big trucks and going to truck shows. He was so smart and was the IT person of the family and at work. Jeffrey loved fishing and boating, receiving his boating license at eighteen years old. He was a comedian and a jokester. He was the brightest ray of sunshine and was envied by many for his beard. Jeffrey was the most loving son, brother and friend and his love and generosity for others was unmatched. He loved his nurses, doctors and caretakers and would make treat bags for special holidays and buy subs and chicken biscuits as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Moses Cone Hospital and Fresnius in Reidsville for loving Jeffrey and caring for him so well.
In lieu of flowers and food, please consider memorial contributions to the Stokes County Animal Shelter or the Rockingham County Animal Shelter.
