Jeffrey Wayne Dodson, 65, formerly of Sandy Ridge, passed Friday, January 31, 2025, at Ancora Compassionate Care (Hospice of Rockingham County).
Born October 20, 1959, in Rockingham County, Jeffrey was a graduate of North Stokes High School and a member of Delta Methodist Church. Jeffrey was a past employee of Wieland Copper Products, Pine Hall. His favorite pastime was riding the electric shopping scooters at Walmart. He loved to attend car shows, collect matchbox cars, and listening to all types of music, especially country, bluegrass, and easy listening rock.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Guilford Wayne Dodson and Viona Pearson Dodson, and many cousins.
Survivors include a sister, Judy D. Richardson, of Mayodan; two nephews, Herman Junior Mabe (Cindy), of Lawsonville, and William Dean Mabe (Melinda), of Walnut Cove; great-nieces and nephews, J.D., Harley, Tiffany, Hannah Mabe, Andrew Gregory, and Louis Mabe, and two great-great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel to
assist with funeral expenses.
