Jarriet “Tre” Blackwell departed this life on Wednesday morning, January 31, 2024.

As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina, he attended the local public schools and was a former member of West End Baptist Church.

His mother, Phyllis Denise Blackwell, preceded him in death.

Survivors are: father, Percy Frank Lemons; brother, Franklin Brice Lemons; aunt, Beverly Turner (Larry); other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street with Pastor Reginald Cook presiding. The Family visitation will be Tuesday from 12 until 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Public viewing will be Monday afternoon at Johnson & Sons.
