We joyfully celebrate the life of Janice Watson Shaw, born on July 2, 1933, in Andrews, SC. A spirited and dedicated woman, Janice Watson made an indelible mark in the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her radiant spirit and unwavering faith, living out her favorite scripture, Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Her love for the Lord was evident through her service in the church choir and her daily life.
Janice Shaw was a resilient woman who, after retiring from her nursing career in New York, moved to High Point, North Carolina, where she continued to enrich her community with her loving nature. She had a passion for gardening, took delight in long neighborhood walks, and cherished the times spent talking with friends and family. She also found solace in reading her Bible. Her resilient spirit, dedication, and love were a testament to her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.
