Ms. Janice Lee Yancey departed this life on Monday morning, June 27, 2022.
As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina, she attended the local public schools and was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant. At a tender age, Janice accepted Christ as her Saviour and united with Zion Baptist Church. During her leisure, she enjoyed socializing, spending time with family, taking pictures and connecting with others of Facebook.
Her father, Willie C. Reynolds, Sr.; siblings, Barbara Lee, Robin L. Wingate and Anthony D. Lee, preceded her in death.
Survivors are: husband, Lacy Yancey; daughter, LaQuita Roberts; son, Raheem Lee; grandson, Lamydee Roberts; beloved mother, Ida Lee Reynolds; sister, Dorothy Lee; brother, Willie C. Reynolds, Jr. (Tracey); uncle, Robert Lee, Sr.; special niece, Jean Price; devoted friends, Willie Mae Slade and Sandra Roberts; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street. Public viewing will be Thursday afternoon from 2 until 8 p.m. at Johnson & Sons.
