Mr. James W. Moore, age 70, formerly of Reidsville, NC passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at UNC Health Rockingham Hospital.
Public viewing will begin on Monday, June 2, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.
All other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Carolyn Moore, 606 Piedmont Street, Reidsville, NC.
James was born in Rockingham County, NC on August 26, 1954 to James Joseph Moor and Mary Thornton Moore.
For many years, he resided on Eugene Street in Reidsville before he was placed in Eden Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Eden, NC.
He was a faithful member of Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church for many years until his health declined. He loved his church and was a former choir member.
In his spare-time, he loved dancing and watching football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Moore; siblings, Gloria Jean Moore, Louetta Moore and William Kenny Moore.
Survivors include sister, Carolyn Moore; a host of relatives and friends.
