James Jackson Rumley, 67, departed his earthly home to be with his heavenly Father on August 2, 2024, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
Jackie, or Jack Jack, as he was known to his family and friends, was a retired fixer for Macfield (Unifi) textile plant and retail stocker in Eden, North Carolina. He was an avid golfer and UNC Tarheel fan.
He leaves behind his beloved aunt, Shirley Satterfield; cousins, Steve Satterfield, Dave Satterfield and wife Joyce Satterfield, and Shirl Broadnax; his love, Cassie Peach; as well as many friends.
