Ira William “Bill” Pierson, 58, of Eden passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Annie Penn Hospital.
Bill was born in Flint, Michigan on August 25, 1966. He was a mechanic with Laurel Park Tire. He loved to hunt and was a huge Dale Earnhardt fan. He loved his dogs, Roxy and Lady. He was a very loving husband, father and PeePaw.
He was predeceased by his father, Ira Burl Pierson.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sharon Martin Pierson of the home; his children, Kelly McCourt (Kevin) of Craigsville, WV, William Pierson (Christy) of Summersville, WV, Melissa Lance (Shane) of Greensboro, Jerry Reid, Jr. (Tina Mayes) of Dry Fork, VA, Matthew Reid of Eden; his grandchildren, Nevaeh McCourt, Khloe McCourt, Skyler McCourt, Journeigh McCourt, Camren Heflin, Cameron Duvall, Kaelyn Kang, Nicholas Reid, Kadence Easter, Lucas Reid, Gemma Reid; his great granddaughter on the way, Magnolia Kang; and his fur babies, Lady Bug and Koda.
