Hilda “Grey” Carter, 82, passed away Friday night, July 28, 2023, at her home.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
Hilda was born May 2, 1941 in Caswell County, NC, to the late Hildrey and Mildred Smith Loftis.
She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Carter of the home; son, Daryl Gwynn (DeAnna) of Reidsville; daughter, Darla Morton (Kenny) of Hubert, NC; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Gwynn; son, Darren Gwynn; grandson, Wyatt Morton; brother, Ricky Loftis and sister, Joyce Heath.
