Henry “Ricky” Wesley Dillard, 68, Stoneville, NC passed Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022, at Perry-Spencer Funeral Home, Eden, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Perry-Spencer Funeral home Chapel, Eden, NC with funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Hamlin Cemetery, Eden, NC.
Our beloved Henry “Ricky” Wesley Dillard was born November 24, 1953, to the late Lillian Melissa Miller Dillard and Henry Willard Dillard of Eden, NC. “Ricky” surrendered his life to God on Saturday, August 27, 2022, while the blood was still running warm in his veins and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior under the anointing of Elder Gerald Kidd. He departed this life, Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Gibson House, Wentworth, NC.
He attended the local schools and was employed as a Supervisor with National Textile until the plant closed.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Jerome Mills, sisters, Delores Faye Dillard and Hester Ann Dillard, brother, Anderson Lewis Dillard and grandmother, Mary Lee Tacker.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his children; Tyrone Mills of Reidsville, NC and Eric Searcy of Greensboro, NC. Loving siblings; Jesse W. Dillard of New Orleans, Royal Dillard and Wanda Dillard of Eden, NC, special extended family; Kena Dillard, Justin and Tyna Dillard and his special love, Calyn Dillard, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
