

Henry “Eddie” Bennett, 71, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 31, 2025.
Eddie was born August 13, 1953, in Stokes County. He was a farmer by nature and ran Bennett Feeder Pig Farm up until the day he passed. Eddie was a very devoted husband and loved spending time with his family and life long friends. He was very supportive of his nephews, great-nephews, and nieces. Eddie attended all of their activities and was always present for them. Eddie was an avid hunter and he enjoyed hunting deer, rabbit and squirrels. Eddie was always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was a very hard worker throughout his life. He will be missed by many relatives and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife Amy Shelton Bennett; nephews, Mathew Bennett and Andrew (Jessica Bennett) of Danbury; his very special great nieces and nephews; Ava, Aiden, Axel, Aisley, Wyatt and Levi Bennett.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edsel and Brona Hall Bennett, and his brother Teddy Bennett.
