Henry Allan “June” Fields departed this life on Wednesday evening, September 6, 2023.
As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina, he attended the local public schools and West End Baptist Church. He was a former employee of IEM Plastics. Being an avid sportsman with a penchant for fishing, he enjoyed spending time with family and socializing.
His parents, Barbara Jean Fields Wheeler and Henry Siddle; special cousin, Jarnice Fields, preceded him in death.
Survivors are: sons, Henry A. Fields, Jr. and Shawn Fields; daughter, Leatrice Logan; grandchild, Tamya Fields; beloved step-father, James “Redd” Wheeler (Sharon); sister, Gatha Stevenson (William); brothers, Tony Fields, James “Jamie” Wheeler, Fredrick Siddle, Gregory Siddle (Sherri), Roderick Siddle (Delphine), Jerome Siddle and Stephen Alston (Judy); special friends, Patricia Terry and Kenny Dickerson; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special appreciation is extended to the ART Home Healthcare staff.
Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2023 from the chapel of Johnson & Sons, 115 Holderby Street. His remains are in the care of Johnson & Sons.
