Haley Michelle Tucker, born December 18, 1995, entered the gates of heaven on November 15, 2024,at her home following recent medical challenges.
A graduate of McMichael High School, Haley pursued her passion for helping others as a Personal Care Assistant at Jacobs Creek Nursing Home, where she found fulfillment in caring for the elderly. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and spending quality moments with her family. Her greatest joy came from being with her nieces and nephew, who were the light of her life.
Haley was preceded in death by her grandfather, Hylton Tucker; her nephew, baby Dax Settle; her great-grandparents, Henry and Barbara Southern, Lee and Myrtle Barker, Virgil and Mary Ham, and Melvin and Mamie Tucker.
She leaves behind cherished memories with her parents, Jeff Tucker of Stokesdale and Tracey Barker Tucker (Corey Flood) of Axton, VA; her grandparents, Mike and Teresa Barker of Madison, and Shelby Tucker of Stokesdale; her siblings, Hannah Tucker of Axton and Chase Tucker(Havanna) of Madison; and her treasured nieces and nephew, Aubree, Rose, and Duke Settle. She will also be lovingly remembered by her aunts, Christy Locklear (Paul), Kathy Lanham, Vickie Tucker; her uncle, Chris Tucker; and her cousins, Jordon Locklear, Brendon Locklear, Alex Tucker, Josh Lanham, Zachary Lanham, and Jordan Kirby; and a special great uncle, Mike Tucker.
Her family will continue to celebrate her life and the love she brought to their lives.
Haley’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, kindness and a selfless dedication to others. Her radiant smile and caring heart will be forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have known her.
