Haley Bullins Farmer, 78, left this earthly life after an extended illness, Monday, June 19, 2023, at home.

A Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service until 7 p.m.

Haley was born on December 13, 1944, in Stokes County, to the late Richard Sylvester Bullins and Roverta Richardson Bullins. She retired with 46 years of service from Unifi, Inc. as a instructor/supervisor. She was a member of Cross Roads of Life Ministry. Haley was a devoted wife and mother, and dearly loved her family. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and dancing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aldean Farmer; granddaughter, Cheyenne Marie Shelton; brothers, Bobby, Joseph, and Harris Bullins.

Survivors include a son and fiance, her caregivers, James Benjamin Farmer (April Gibson); daughter, Angela Marie Shelton; brother, Tony David Bullins; sisters, Martha Bullins (Cecil), Marie Smith, Carolyn Haley (Steve), and Linda Faye Anderson; and two special friends, Frances Montgomery and Barbara Briggs.

Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
