Hal Windsor Shelton, Jr., 66, died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Gibson House Hospice.
No formal services will be held.
Mr. Shelton was born on April 16, 1958 in Forsyth County to the late Hal Windsor Shelton, Sr. and Doris Manuel Shelton. Hal retired as a Supervisor of the Grounds Department at UNC Greensboro. He loved to read, canoe and hike in his younger years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Shelton and Walter Hill and step-mother, Irene Holland Brown Shelton.
Survivors include his wife, Dana Miller Shelton; daughter, Misty McKoin (Bryan); grandchildren, Jacob Newell, Josh Newell and Bryson McKoin and his loving canine, Jesse.
