Gwendolyn Nickelston Conaway, 62 , passed away early Thursday morning, December 1, 2022, at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.
A private burial in Mayodan Municipal Cemetery, will take place at a later date.
A Rockingham County native, Gwen was born August 1, 1960 to the late Troy Oliver Nickelston and Sylvia Nelson Nickelston. She was a member of Beaver Island Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sister, Tonya Thorpe of Mayodan and an adopted daughter, Julia Wolford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Danielle Conaway and her son, Wolfgang Martin.
Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison is serving the family.
