Obituary: GRACIE LELIA HALL STRADER

Gracie Lelia Hall Strader, 97, of 115 Guerrant Springs Road, went home to be with The Lord, Thursday, April 26, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Lawsonville Road Baptist Church with Dr. Ron Tuck officiating and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, April 29, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and other times at her home.
Gracie was born in Stokes County to the late George and Emma Murphy Hall. She taught Sunday School for over 50 years and was a longtime and faithful member of Lawsonville Road Baptist Church. Gracie worked hard to provide and support her family. She worked on the farm and also retired from Fieldcrest Mills. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband A.J. Strader; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Gracie is survived by her daughters Carolyn Cooper and husband Fred, Nancy French and husband Danny, and Kathy Midkiff and husband Mike; grandchildren Blake Cooper and wife Jennifer, Tammy French, Kourtney Walker and Jason Allen, and Karla Walker; great grandchildren Dakota, Colby, Bishop, Drew, Parker, Libby, and Layne; and a large extended family.
