Glenn Gregory Swofford, 64, of Stokesdale, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Annie Penn Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held on October 17, 2022, at Moravia Moravian Church.
Glenn was born in Passaic County, New Jersey on May 18, 1958, to the late Glenn Swofford, Jr. and Peggie DeShazo. He graduated from Ragsdale High School of Jamestown in 1976 and later graduated from Tennessee Temple University in 1982. He attended Moravia Moravian Church and loved science fiction. He also loved to eat but above all, loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Darrell, Jerry, and Glenn Michael Swofford.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Alicia Isley Swofford of the home; his children, Christopher Swofford (Delia) of Turlock, CA, April Brannen of Jefferson City, MO, and Meghan Swofford of the home; his sister, Laurie Hood of Manchester, GA; and six grandchildren.
