

George Michael Davis, 53, of Stoneville, NC passed away Friday, March 21st at the High Point Regional Hospital in High Point, NC after a brief illness.
Born on January 28, 1972 to Roy Wayne Davis and the late Barbara Jean Charnock Davis. He was a son, the Love of Tammy’s life, brother, uncle and friend whose kind heart and loving spirit touched the lives of many.
George was a hardworking man with a strong work ethic. Over the years, he dedicated himself to various trades, including maintenance, roofing, masonry, and landscaping. He took great pride in his work and found fulfillment in creating and building things with his hands. He worked for Dewey R. Haizlip for many years.
He is survived by his father Roy Wayne Davis, is fiancée’ Tammy Chilton, his sisters, Candy Davis Jones and husband Ronnie, Naomi Davis Fowlkes and husband Zach, brother Harold Davis and partner Linda, Nancy Chilton. Debbie Ziglar, Sandy J. Boyte and husband Kevin.
George was a beloved uncle and great uncle to 13 nieces and nephews, 10 great nieces and nephews with two on the way, Godson, Zach Kennon, his close friend, Neal Shively and his cherished fur babies, Holly, Hunter, and Sug.
On his fiancée’s side he was a beloved uncle and great uncle to 8 nieces and nephews, 12 great nieces and nephews, 1 great-great niece, special friend Carla Martin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Charnock, brother Howard Davis.
On his fiancées side he was preceded in death by Fred S. Chilton, Frankie Jones, Donna Jones Trent and Robbie Ziglar.
The family welcomes all who knows and loved George to join in honoring his memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rockingham County Human Society, 205 Boone Road, Eden, NC 27288 in honor of his love for animals.
