Gary L Johnson, 67, of Eden, NC, died after a short illness on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025.
Gary was born in York, Pa on March 13th, 1958 to Warren and Edna (Vance) Johnson. He attended West York Area High School before majoring in Business at York College. Later he earned his Masters from Penn State University. He lived in York, PA for many years before moving south to Eden to start his own business with his wife Cathy.
Gary recently retired as the owner / operator of Carolina Tool Sales and Repair in Greensboro, NC. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Reidsville, NC.
Gary is survived by his wife Cathy (Markle) Johnson. Sister, Mary (Gary) Gladfelter of York, PA. Brother, James (Karen) Johnson of Middletown, PA. Sons, Gary (Veronica) Johnson and Matthew (Devaughna) Johnson both of York. Daughter, Nicole (Jamey) Gillespie of Stokesdale, NC. As well as his grandchildren, Aiden, Mya, Tyrece, Lailah, Gunnar, Magnus, Khloe, Waylon and Wyatt. Along with several nieces and nephews.
