Frank Leon Dawkins departed this life on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
He was a native of Rockingham County, North Carolina and a resident of Richmond County for the past two years. Frank was employed by Burger King and attended West End Baptist Church. During his leisure, he enjoyed singing and playing the drums.
His father, Frank Wilson and his adoptive mother, Oreta Dawkins Cardwell, preceded him in death.
Survivors are: beloved mother, Mattie Dawkins; sister, Anita Boyd; brother, Larry Boyd; aunts, Eloise Davis, Gracie Williams, Sheneva Booker (Alvin), Emily Ziglar (Clarence) and Brenda Dawkins; uncles, Bishop Woodrow Dawkins and Clarence Dawkins; special friend, Kim Nelson; other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from the family plot of Greenview Cemetery, 1004 Montgomery Street. His remains are in the care of Johnson & Sons.
