Obituary: FRANK JAMES STANLEY

Frank James Stanley, 81, passed away Friday night, September 23, 2022, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 27th, at Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel with burial to follow in Stoneville Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (1 – 2 PM) at the funeral home.
A life-long resident of Rockingham County, NC, Frank was born April 21, 1941to the late Benjamin Franklin Stanley and Ola Lester Stanley Tilley. He was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kaye Pennell Stanley of the home; daughter, Melinda Neugent (Robert) of Madison; step-sons, Ray Miller (Rhonda) and family and Todd Miller and family; two grandchildren Amanda Griffin and Elizabeth Wilson; a step-grandson, Justin Miller and family; a great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Wilson; brothers, Harvey Stanley and James Tilley (Louise); along with four sisters, Patricia Welch, Diane Pennell (George), Betty Carter and Polly Tilley (Darrell).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lula May Hamlet and his step-father, Lee Tilley.
Colonial Funeral Home & Chapel in Madison is serving the family.
