Frances Mae Mabe Hiatt, 75, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, entered eternal rest Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born in Stokes County on April 23, 1949, to the late Stanley Mabe and Anise Bullins Mabe. Frances was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with her family and cooking for them.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Mabe.
She is survived by her husband, Leroy Hiatt; sons, Thomas (April) Hiatt and William (Crystal) Hiatt; grandchildren, Brittany Hiatt Fulcher (Cody), Katie Hiatt Sweatt (Jacob), Ashleigh Hiatt Amos (Steven), Emily Hiatt, and Tayler Hiatt; great-grandchildren, Hunter Fulcher, Greyson Fulcher, Lexi Fulcher, and Owen Sweatt; and sisters, Gerlene Williams, Margie Mabe Southern, and sister-in-law Helen Mabe.
Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
