Evelyn “Sisy” L. Pennell, 64, Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday May 15, 2023.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro with Pastor Tim Green officiating.
Sisy was born in Rockingham County to the late Rufus and Constance “Connie” Lee. She was a weaver for Burlington industries/ Reidsville Weaving. She loved angels and yellow roses but most of all she loved her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Pennell; children, Steven Pennell (Julie) and Katie P. Lipscomb (Edward); grandchildren, Montana Pennell, Trevor, and Abbey Lipscomb; siblings, Judy Smithey, Wayne Lee Sr., Gerald Lee and Brian Lee as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Saint Jude’s Hospital at 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
