Eric Dean Johnson, age 31, of Eden, NC passed away Friday March 7, 2025 at UNC Rockingham Hospital.
Eric was born December 11, 1993 in Eden, NC to Richard “Rick” Henry Johnson III and Donna Moore Johnson. He attended Wayside Baptist Church and worked for Sheetz at the store locations in Eden and Reidsville as well as their warehouse distribution center in Burlington, NC. He attended Rockingham Community College and also worked briefly for DryLock Technologies in Reidsville, NC.
Surviving Eric are his parents of the home, grandmother Mary G. Currie of Spencer, NC; step-grandmother, Louise Johnson of Richmond, VA; aunts, Sherree Miller (David) of Spencer, NC, Suzy Wyatt of Richmond, VA, Sherry Fisher (Jerry) of Burnsville, NC, Carolyn Cardwell(Donny) of Mayodan, NC, Donna Adams (Ken) of Randleman, NC; great-aunt, Ruby H. Goad of Mayodan, NC; uncles, Rusty Sutherland(Star) of Greensboro, NC, John Johnson of Richmond, VA, Warren Moore of Mayodan, NC, along with numerous cousins. Preceding him in death are his grandfathers Richard H. Johnson, JR. and Thomas J. Moore, grandmother Louise H. Moore and special cousin Crystal Miller.
