Eric Carroll Teal, 71, passed away early Sunday morning, August 27, 2023, at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center after a short, but devastating, battle with pancreatic cancer with his wife, Mary Ruth, by his side.
There will be no formal service at this time. However, a celebration of his life is in the planning stages.
Eric was born November 30, 1951 in Bennetsville, SC to the late E. C. and Margaret Marlow Teal. He was one of three children and his two sisters survive him; Glenda Nicholson and Nonie Teal. While quite a character, Eric was a gentle spirit. He was of the Mormon faith. He had a love for animals, domestic and wild alike; enjoyed fast cars, listening to and playing music, especially guitars, and watching movies (westerns more often than not). Being a collector of various treasures, he found great joy in surrounding himself with things that he loved.
