Emalee Proctor Mullins, 83, left this earthly life on Thursday, August 4, 2022 with her family by her side.
A graveside service will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Woodland Cemetery with Reverend Andy Craver officiating. Friends may sign a register and pay their respects on Monday from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home in Madison.
Mrs. Mullins was born on August 27, 1938 in Guilford County to the late Sam Proctor and Lilly Marie Fowler Proctor. Emalee’s world revolved around her beloved children and grandchildren. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Caswell Dallas “Moon” Mullins; son, Caswell Anthony “Tony” Mullins; great-granddaughter, Presley Rose Mullins; brother, Ken Proctor and son-in-law, Scott Tosto.
Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Mullins Tosto-Landreth (Tim); grandchildren, Katey Tosto Oakley, Samuel Tosto, Samantha Landreth, Caswell Alden Mullins and Garrett Mullins; great-grandchildren, Sadie Grace Mullins and Hazel “Moon” Mullins; daughter-in-law, Robin Mullins; brother, Darrell Proctor; sister, Midgie Proctor Craver (Tony) and several special extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Foundation and/or the Down Syndrome Foundation.
