Elizabeth Grey McKinney Pegram, 83 of Browns Summit, went to be with the Lord Thursday June 30, 2022 at her home.
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday July 4, 2022 in Greenview Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.
The family will be at the residence. A native of Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Ray Lee and Hattie Eva Apple McKinney and had lived in Browns Summit since 1969. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by daughters: Carol Pegram and Sybil Anne Pegram and her brothers: Terry Dwight McKinney and Lee Ray McKinney. Survivors include her husband: Chester Lawrence Pegram, Sr. of the home, sons: Richard Lee Pegram (Sylvia) and Chester Lawrence “Sam” Pegram, Jr. both of Browns Summit, daughters: Janet P. Johnson and Tonya P. Inman (Pete) both of Greensboro, grandchildren: Billy Ray Cook (Lindsay), Kathy Cook, Hailey Johnson, Jason Lee Pegram (Felita), Ginny Pegram, Dalton Pegram, Kaitlyn Pegram, Jessica Gillie (Zeke), and Sydney Inman (Hunter), and many loving great grandchildren.
