Elizabeth “Lizann” Brown Stanford O’Bryan, 95, of Stoneville passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 4pm on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Stoneville Christian Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Stoneville Municipal Cemetery.

A Rockingham County native, Mrs. O’Bryan was born November 20, 1928 to the late Walter Lee and Thelma Glenn Brown. She was a lifelong member of Stoneville Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Elizabeth enjoyed gardening and helping other people. 

Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Ann Wyatt (Allen) of Stoneville; grandchildren, Elizabeth Sutliff of Plano, TX, Alex Wyatt of Greenwood, SC, Benton Wyatt of Wilmington, NC; as well as special nieces Sandy Clark and Lee Ann Evans.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Aubrey H. Stanford, III; husband, Kenneth O’Bryan; sister, Frances B. Carter; and brother, James W. Brown, Sr.
