Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Thornton Fultz departed this life on Friday afternoon, December 30, 2022.
As a native and lifelong resident of Rockingham County, North Carolina, she attended the local public schools and was a graduate of Reidsville Senior High School, Class of 1985. As an affiliate of Zion Baptist Church and possessing a gentle spirit, she loved her family, enjoyed taking long walks, socializing and listening to music.
Her father, Robert Mitchell, preceded her in death. Survivors are: mother, Louetta Thornton; aunt, Carolyn Moore; uncle, James Moore; special cousins, Anthony Moore, Joseph Moore and Melinda Thornton; god daughters, Levia Herbin and Tonya Farrish; special friend, Helen Monroe and the Lytle Street Community; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 6, 2023 from the Cornerstone Christian Center, 516 North Scales Street with Rev. Spencer Woods presiding. The family visitation will be Friday from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m. at the church.
