Elisanna Pavinato Whalen, 81, of Madison, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
Elisanna was born in Vicenza, Italy on August 19, 1943, to the late Mario Pavinato and Maria Brogiatto. She worked as an accountant in banking for many years. Elisanna was a gifted painter and loved riding her bike. She loved her family and helping others in need.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernd Clauss; and her grandson, Joshua Bradley Whalen.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Kurt Whalen of Madison and Douglas Paul Whalen and wife Gema of Baton Rouge, LA; her sister, Bobbi Richardson of Seattle, Washington; and her granddaughter, Isabella Whalen.
