Efren Garcia Ayala, 49, of Stuart, VA, left this earthly life Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, NC.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon, October 2, 2024, at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 209 Lon avenue, Booneville, N.C. A Christian Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Sandy Ridge, N.C.

Efren was born October 22, 1974, in Degollado, Mexico. He was a farmer and handyman. Efren is preceded in death by his father Juan Garcia Mata.

Survivors include his wife Maria del Carmen Garcia; mother, Camerina Ayala; brothers, Martin Garcia, J. Guadalupe Garcia, and sisters, Margarita Garcia, Jubentina Garcia, Himelda GarciaCatalina Garcia, Celia Garcia, M. Carmen Garcia, Ana Garcia, and Miriam Garcia, and many cousins, nephews and nieces.

The family received friends Monday, September 30, 2024, from 11 a.m until 10 p.m., and Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel.
