Obituary: EARLENE WILKINS WADE

Earlene Wilkins Wade, 83, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022, at LifeBrite Community Hospital of Stokes.

She was born February 14, 1939, in Stokes County, to the late Henry Wilkins and Stella Carter Wilkins. Earlene attended Sandy Ridge High School and retired from Levolor in Greensboro, N.C.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Wilkins and a sister, Nancy Boles.

Earlene is survived by her children, Phoebe Hardee (Gerry), of Caswell Beach, N.C. and Ricky Wade (Stacy), of Sparta, N.C.; She has seven grandchildren: T.J., Brandi, Ethan, Felicity, Savannah, Christian and Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Hannah, and Noah; a sister Roxie Lawson; a special nephew, Marty Boles, and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

To honor Earlene’s wishes, there will be no formal services.

Colonial Funeral Home Stokes Chapel in Sandy Ridge is serving the family.
